"And Then There's Maude"

There have been a lot of things going on lately.
One of those things is that we planted a church.
actually i dont really like saying that. there are words like:
we planted a church
we started a church
our church

any of that stuff. i dont like, and its not just some semantic game, its just that none of those things are true. we didnt start any new movement. we didnt start any new thing, or anything different. we are just, to the best of our ability, doing God's biding. i know that sounds cheesy, but its all God's work.

the second i start leaning on my own understanding is the second this all goes south.

thats one of my biggest beefs with this so called 'leadership' movement in the church. there are so many pastors trying to be this A Grade leader, or make leaders in their churches. its just not us.

so far its been going good. we have had good attendance and it is building.

if you pray.

do that please for us.

i also have been, more than ever enjoying my family. not that i ever didn't enjoy them, but its just been extra this past week. i cant explain the feeling i have, the joy, the comfort, and the peace when the four of us are together. this past week we did Cincinnati Walks where the four of us and some friends did a benefit walk for children's hospital. it was really fun and a great time!

the funniest things in the world right now:
Tina Fey being Sarah Palin. There is nothing funnier than these recent skits.

and this video:

And then theres Maude.

wow, i can not express how great this show is with words. it is an old show from the early 70's that ran 6 seasons. it won an Emmy and a Golden Globe. it was a spin off of All in the Family and Maude was created to be the Anti-Thesis of Archie Bunker. Maude is a liberal Democrat woman in the early 70's and she is great. This show deals with amazing issues and may be one of the raciest shows i have seen given the context of when it was produced. it has great characters and good acting. if you ever get a chance to check this out, you should do it.

J: So, after your disappointment, I looked at your post.
I'll figure out how to subscribe. I have these comments:

Tina Fey: other female comedians are "Pal-in" comparison.

Marky Mark: is taking a "bum rap" in this clip.

The Bea Arthur clip is a bit "Maude-lin".

I loved your family photos! Excellent color, backgrounds, poses, subjects! You are blessed
with your family!
